UK based producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist George King has already captured the ears of the BBC and the attention of forward-thinking peers like Caribou and Bonobo, featuring as a performer in the latter's Outliers series. With these accolades in his back pocket, King has stepped up his game yet again on Tides, adding a new dimensions to his folktronica sound. With the help of arranger Thomas Lea (Adele/Bonobo), King augmented these tracks with a bevy of orchestral flourishes and lush strings, lending a distinctive organic flavor his electronic productions.
