Ethersonic is the identity chosen for the solo output of UK based artist Ben Hayman whose work spans live performance, installation, released studio tracks and video.

Drawing on source recordings gathered over decades of live work in site specific events, Ethersonic mines loops and layers occasional instrumentation along with voice to create industrial ambient pieces.

Video loops and light projection contraptions feature in most events as Ethersonic strives to find a new mix of sonic and visual live impact. The material has been developed through performance at venues in NZ and the UK over the period of 2020 to 2022.
